Role
Background
At EmployBridge, a leading staffing services company, I was involved in a project focused on developing white-labeled iOS and Android apps, which could be customized and branded for various subsidiary companies. These apps are designed to streamline the process for businesses to find qualified employees and for individuals to advance their careers effectively.
As a Product Designer, my responsibilities were comprehensive and included designing new features, creating user flows, and developing prototypes. I also conducted user interviews to gather insights that informed the improvement of the app's design and overall user experience. My role required close collaboration with the product owner, the development team, and various stakeholders to ensure that the apps not only met the diverse needs of the subsidiary companies but also provided a seamless and intuitive user experience. This project was pivotal in enhancing how companies connect with potential employees through technology.

Conclusion
Working with EmployBridge was incredibly important for my career development, especially as it was one of my first major projects. A significant learning from this experience was the importance of designing products with the primary user in mind. Our user base primarily used simpler phones that did not support the latest functionalities and had limited screen sizes. This constraint necessitated a focus on simplicity, transparency, and accessibility in our design approach, which was crucial in ensuring the usability of our apps across diverse user groups.
Additionally, supporting a white-label application enhanced my understanding of systemic design. It taught me how to create and manage style guides that could be easily adapted for multiple brands. This experience was instrumental in learning how to maintain design consistency and identity, regardless of the brand representation.
These experiences were foundational in shaping my skills and approach to product development, making me a more adaptive and thoughtful designer.
