Background

Condofy offers a modern solution for condo management, combining key services into one platform to cut resident costs by up to 50%. Their technology simplifies operations for both homeowner associations and residents.


As Condofy's former Product Lead in a fast-paced startup environment, I wore many hats. I spearheaded the design of their mobile app and created their design system. But my contributions extended beyond product design. I collaborated extensively with the founder, leading the product and engineering teams throughout strategy refinement and a growth program with TheVentureCity.


My key challenge was crafting a streamlined app that offered powerful management tools without sacrificing ease of use. I also stepped outside my comfort zone by developing brand guidelines, creating their new logo, and designing and assisting with the front-end development of their new landing page.


The successful app launch, alongside the additional branding elements, was a major accomplishment in my role at Condofy and a key driver of their growth.

Conclusion

Working on the Condofy platform taught me a lot about growing professionally in a fast-paced startup environment. I took on many roles—project manager, designer, and engineering lead—getting a crash course in condo management along the way. This wasn't just about adapting; it was about using a diverse skill set to create an effective product.

Leading the mobile app development was a hands-on lesson in building and managing a tech team from the ground up. This included hiring engineers, overseeing development, launching on the app store, and managing quality assurance. Each stage brought its own challenges and learning opportunities, which sharpened my technical and leadership skills.

Additionally, navigating our team through a venture capital growth program opened my eyes to the importance of business metrics and growth tracking. This experience was crucial in aligning our product development with broader business goals, setting Condofy up for market success and scalability.

Juggling these roles without a dedicated product team underscored the importance of being flexible and resilient in a startup setting. It was a comprehensive lesson in product management and development, boosting my professional skills and preparing me for future challenges.

Looking forward, I'm eager to apply these lessons in new ways, aiming to merge innovative technology with user-centric design to create impactful solutions. My journey with Condofy has been a significant chapter in my career, providing a solid foundation for my next steps.
